Let's start with Kindergarten!

The Buckeye School of the Arts Kindergarten is a safe and happy place to grow and develop. Our extremely experienced staff is dedicated to making Kindergarten an incredible beginning to your child’s education.
We focus on academic readiness with an emphasis on the individual child as a unique and special person. Our playground “Kinderland” is based on a farm yard theme and has a walking trail in the forest! Themes, projects and experiential learning will fill your child’s day in a warm, nurturing environment. We also offer a new transitional kindergarten program.

And add...

Focus on Literacy
We at Buckeye School of the Arts build success and confidence in all of our students by meeting their individual needs in literacy. Through collaboration, our staff is committed to providing a consistent, nurturing environment of intense daily instruction at each child’s level. Each grade level is divided into reading ability groups that attend classes at their target learning level. We utilize over 50 teachers, aides and support people to greatly reduce the student to teacher ratio, focusing on specific reading skills. This is just one hour of our two & a half hour language arts block! For us... it’s all about success!

Academic Rigor
Buckeye School of the Arts maintains a high level of academic rigor due to our complete focus on the aggressive California State Standards. All our teachers are highly trained in specific teaching strategies, use of data to guide instruction and student engagement techniques. We also have a system for delivering intervention instruction, insuring success for all!
The Arts
The Arts are alive at Buckeye! We offer Strings, Choir, Drama, Band, Dance and a theme based visual arts program. A new performing arts facility has been added that enhances our fall, winter & spring programs.
Our school athletic program offers; soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, softball, baseball, wrestling, and track.
At Buckeye (BSA), we truly care that every student learns! If you are considering a move to our school, please give me a call. I would be happy to give you a personal, school-wide tour and introduce you to staff.
